
Su Qin is known for her quality tutoring, especially with PSLE students. She is able to ignite a strong interest on Chinese subject among students. Born in Lanzhou of Gansu China (中国甘肃省兰州市),Su Qin has been working as full time Chinese tutor in Singapore since 2005. She started with teaching in intensive PSLE Chinese camps (小六会考集训营) for reputable primary schools. As she was well-liked by many students and their parents, she soon established a strong referral network through private tutoring. SuQin is forever grateful to these parents and students who introduce her to other new students.

Su Qin always adjusts her subject materials and teaching style according to the learning profile of the individual. She inspires students to be uncompromising with academic achievement and encourages them to be always ahead of level.
SuQin’s students are mostly studying in schools near Ang Mo Kio and Bishan, such as Ai Tong School and CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School. Naturally many of her students continued their Chinese tuition with her from Primary into Secondary school.
Professional Qualifications
SuQin scored with Distinctions in China’s Grade Certificate Of Putonghua Level Test (中国国家普通話水平测试) and effortlessly obtained Certification with Singapore’s Chinese Entrance Proficiency Test.
In China SuQin also obtained Occupational Qualification Certificate in Psychology (心理咨询师职业资格证书). With her growing interest in child education and psychology, Su Qin also enrolled with Singapore Academy Of Human Development to pursue the Double Diploma (双文凭) in Counseling Skills and in Family Life Education (专业辅导文凭与专业家庭生活教育文凭) . She will complete the course in 2011
Personal Reflection
Su Qin attributes her tutoring success with her Christian belief on joy and love. She brings the spirit of joy and love to her students, always believing that a happy student is a successful student. Her joy in teaching and her loving care with students are strong motivation for many students to want to achieve academic excellence in the Chinese subject.
SuQin takes every tutoring as an “engagement of trust”. Every new assignment begins with a strong sense of expectation from both parents and child. As the learning journey progresses, tutor’s responsibility is to transform student’s expectations into learning confidence. The most heartening reward is to sense the trust growing within the student and the parents.
