Born in China, Su Qin has been tutoring Chinese in Singapore since 2005. She started with tutoring Chinese and Higher Chinese for upper Primary children and soon became popular among PSLE students through referrals. Naturally many of her students continued their Chinese tuition with her into Secondary school. Su Qin is now a professional Chinese and Higher Chinese tutor for upper Primary and Secondary students.
Professional Qualifications
Scoring with Distinctions in China’s Grade Certificate Of Putonghua Level Test (中国国家普通話水平测试), Su Qin effortlessly obtained Certification with Singapore’s Chinese Entrance Proficiency Test. She began teaching in Intensive PSLE Chinese camps (小六会考集训营) for reputable primary schools. She was well-liked by many students and their parents through whom she was able to establish a strong referral network.
Su Qin is well known for her quality tutoring, especially with PSLE students. She is able to ignite within students a strong interest on Chinese subject. She inspires students to be uncompromising with academic achievement. This by itself is her own greatest achievement as her primary students consistently scored only A or Distinction for their PSLE.

Su Qin tutors in either small group or one-to-one. She is able to adjust her subject materials and teaching style according to the learning profile of each individual student. In small group tutoring, she keeps students of the same standard together and motivates them through peer learning and creative teaching.
