Tak Cheong is Singapore Permanent Resident. He was born in Hong Kong. He teaches Chinese and Higher Chinese at Primary, Secondary and International Baccalaureate (IB) levels. He has more than 30 years of teaching experience. He is bilingual in English and Chinese.
Tak Cheong obtained Bachelor of Education from National Cheng-chi University, Taiwan (台灣國立政治大學) and became a Secondary teacher in Hong Kong specializing in Chinese language, Chinese History and Putonghua (普通话). He has taught more than 30 years in China Holiness College (香港中聖書院) and Hong Kong Kau Yan College (香港救恩書院).
Tak Cheong also holds Certificate of Education (Chinese Language) from Hong Kong Northcote College, Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Hong Kong Baptist University and Postgraduate Diploma in Chinese Studies from Hong Kong Institute of Education. He is a Singapore permanent resident since August 2005.
