Thow Chiang enjoyed being a peer tutor when he was a college student. He found himself particularly good in explaining mathematical concepts in peer language. While serving national service with Singapore Armed Forces, he took up several tutoring assignments through peer referrals. Most of his students achieved outstanding results and are still referring students to him today.
Ruth Goh is a trained teacher with Singapore NIE (National Institute Of Education), majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics. She is married with 2 girls. She was a full time teacher with ACS (Independent) for 5 years and a year with Anglican High before she became a homemaker. Today, Ruth is still actively involved in the teaching profession, doing ad hoc relief in secondary schools as well as giving tuition at home. In her own words: “I enjoy teaching – making concepts clear to students and helping them to be confident to apply and tackle questions through reinforcement.”
Joanne has been a Math tutor for more than 15 years, specializing in secondary Math with O-level and N-Level students. Joanne loves Math since young and she even did all her electives in Math when pursuing her Degree in Economics and Sociology.
We provide group tuition on Secondary math.
Group tuition is held at tutor’s house at Block 93, Kallang Airport (Next to food centre).
We accept students from Secondary 1 to 4. For Secondary 2 and 4, we offer tuition on both A-Math (Additional Math) and E-Math (Elementary Math).
We accept students from Secondary 1 to 5. For Secondary 3, 4 and 5, we offer tuition on both A-Math (Additional Math) and E-Math (Elementary Math).
Class will only commence when there are 2 students of the same standard. Students could be from the same school or from different school. Maximum class size is 4 students.
Classes are conducted weekly on Friday and Saturday. Each class will run for 1.5 hours.
Tuition fee is $80 per student per month on single subject. For students attending tuition on 2 subjects (A-Math and E-Math), the fee shall be $150 per student per month.
