Born in China, Su Qin has been tutoring Chinese in Singapore since 2005. She started with tutoring Chinese and Higher Chinese for upper Primary children and soon became popular among PSLE students through referrals. Naturally many of her students continued their Chinese tuition with her into Secondary school. Su Qin is now a professional Chinese and Higher Chinese tutor for upper Primary and Secondary students.
Married with two children, Teck Chuan is a Singapore-educated Singaporean with strong interest in Chinese studies. After serving in the Civil Service for more than 20 years, Teck Chuan made the decisive move in year 2000 to pursue his passion in Chinese learning. Since then Teck Chuan, known by students from various educational institutions as Mr Lee, has been living purposeful life learning and teaching his favorite subject of Chinese Language.
Born in Hubei province, China, Li Xun came to Singapore in 2007 and was offered Singapore Permanent Residency shortly after. She soon settled down and decided to take up Singapore citizenship when it was offered to her in 2010. In her own words, Li Xun came to Singapore “to refocus and develop in education area of specialization”. During her few short years in Singapore, she was able to make remarkable achievements in education with excellent performance.
Irene Lang has 30 years of experience tutoring Chinese to Primary and Secondary students. She holds firm to the belief that every child is unique, different in learning style and capacity. She works with every child differently, focusing on his or her personal learning needs and tailor each lesson accordingly. Over the years, Irene tutored every student flexibly and creatively, focusing on bringing the desired results over time.
Being the last batch of graduate from old Nanyang University (南洋大学), Siew Noi is effectively bilingual. Driven by strong interest in teaching children, she seeks all opportunities to learn about creative teaching skills to minister to children. She completed Certificate courses on Practice And Principles Of Children’s Ministry and on Counseling Skills. Her strength in Chinese language soon made her popular among friends who are facing difficulties motivating their own children to study Chinese language. With her training on creative teaching to children, she was able to help many children overcome the fear of learning Chinese. Siew Noi is fully competent in tutoring Chinese and Higher Chinese at Primary and Secondary level.
After obtaining her Bachelor Of Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University, Zhang Li worked in the Chemical industry for a brief period. With strong interest in Chinese literature, she soon decided to pursue a non-engineering career. In 1996 Zhang Li obtained Bachelor Of Chinese Language And Literature from Beijing JingWen International University. She worked for many years as full time high school teacher in China.
